Terms & Conditions

Flexible Flying Time:
Flying times are subject to permissions and weather conditions. Changes may occur due to adverse weather or technical reasons.

Body Weight Limitation:
Each helicopter can accommodate up to 6 passengers with a total weight limitation of 445 kg for all passengers combined. Heli Yatra reserves the right to de-board passengers if the actual body weight deviates from what was provided at the time of booking. No refunds will be issued for any passenger de-boarded due to incorrect body weight. Passengers are requested to provide their exact body weight, measured on an electronic scale. Passengers weighing over 75 kg will be charged INR 2,500 for each kg of excess weight, which will be collected in Dehradun before the flight. If the given body weight is incorrect, passengers will be charged INR 3,000 per kg upon the final check by the pilot or may be de-boarded without a refund.

Luggage Weight:
Each passenger is allowed 1 small soft bag (maximum 3 kg). This duffel bag will be provided on the day of arrival. Hard-case luggage or large bags are not permitted.

Flying Schedule:
The sequence of Dham visits may vary due to weather, technical issues, or government permissions. Departure times and sequences are subject to change.

Hotel Accommodation:
Heli Yatra reserves the right to change hotels at the flight origin and destination based on availability. Groups of 6 passengers or more may need to stay in different hotels due to body weight limitations, as they will be traveling in separate helicopters. Rooms are booked on a double or triple-sharing basis only. For single occupancy, an additional charge of INR 30,000 per person (tax inclusive) will apply.

Bad Weather Conditions:
Flying in hilly regions is subject to adverse weather conditions and various Force Majeure factors, including:

• Delayed Air Traffic Clearances/Permissions
• VVIP movements
• Valley flying by the Indian Air Force (NOTAM)
• Sudden technical snags in aircraft
• Illness of flying crew or late reporting of passengers at helipads

Passenger Preparedness:
Passengers must be prepared for any eventualities or inconveniences that may arise in such scenarios.

Additional Day:
It is strongly advised to keep 1 additional day available beyond the 3N4D itinerary to avoid inconveniences if passengers are delayed at any destination due to bad weather or Force Majeure scenarios.

Amendments to Itinerary:
Due to backlog, bad weather, or natural circumstances, amendments to your itinerary may occur, potentially allowing for the coverage of Ekdham or Dodham in one day.

No Flying:
If any Dham is missed due to bad weather or Force Majeure, a proportional refund will be provided (excluding taxes, fees, and flight preparation charges).

Medical/Special Conditions:
Please inform us in advance of any medical or special conditions. We reserve the right to de-board passengers who do not disclose this information.

Airport Transfers:
Transfers are only provided on arrival and departure days. Additional charges apply for transfers to Haridwar/Rishikesh (INR 8,000 per cab).

Passenger Grouping:
A single vehicle will be provided for groups of 6 passengers throughout the tour. Passengers may be shifted between helicopters for safe weight distribution.

Infants:
Infants under 2 years of age may travel free of charge with a valid ID or birth certificate.

Rescheduling of Booking:
A 20% charge applies for rescheduling made 30 days prior to the tour. Less than 30 days’ notice will result in a fresh booking with applicable cancellation charges.

Payment Terms:
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance due 30 days before departure. Full payment is required before boarding the helicopter.

Force Majeure & Bad Weather Refunds:
Basis of Refund:
In case one Dham is completed and one is left out, approximately INR 12,500 per person will be refunded. This amount is exclusive of other expenses (e.g., extra night halts, transfers, or any additional services utilized beyond the package inclusions).

Additional Services:
The cost of additional services provided at any Dham during the tour will be deducted from the refundable tour cost.

Cancellation Policy:

• Up to 30 days before the flying date: 40% cancellation charge.
• 0 to 30 days before the flying date: No refund.
• Extra night halts due to weather or other reasons are at the passenger’s expense.

Note: These terms are designed to ensure safety, comfort, and smooth operations during the Dodham Yatra. Always plan ahead and communicate any special needs in advance.
